The other powerful and probably the best social media you can use to brand yourself is Facebook.

I know that you already read why you can’t ignore Facebook when it comes to building your online presence so I won’t go into too much and technical details here.

The purpose of this article is just to raise the red flag and remind you some basic fundamentals on why you should use FB for the good of your business.

In order to attract the more people on whatever you want to sell them, if you haven’t done it yet, the first thing you want to do is to create a Fan Page where you will be posting topics around what problems you want to solve for your audience.

Provide value to your fans

The goal of your Fan Page will be to promote yourself, your company but also to provide help to those who are in need in regard with online business, affiliate network marketing if you are in those niches or health, food, sport and education if these are the niches you are in.

Which niche you are in is not the most important thing here. What matters is what value do you offer to your fans and how do you help them overcome their difficulties.

Once again, it’s all about building a relationship with them. The more help you’ll provide them, the more they will trust you and buy from you.

Don’t get me wrong though. I’m not saying that success will come overnight. It takes time, patience and efforts to build your brand. When using Facebook, it is very important to start by building the foundations, that is to say, a solid fan base of loyal followers.

To develop my fan base, I like to create paid “Like” ads to target the people who are interested in my products. Once they click on my ads and come to like my page, I then try to find what pain point my audience have so that I can better engage with them and create relationship.

Once I feel that they trust me, then and only then, I start to promote them the product or service I want them to buy.

Remember, using social media and video marketing get better results when people know and trust you. People will not click on your links just because you ask them to. They will only do it when they start to know, like and trust you.

For that reason alone, before considering using social media to brand yourself, what you want to think about first is: what solution or value are you going to bring in the market place? Once you answer to these type of questions, then you will be able to market affiliate products that will help your audience solve their problems.
